4 Anchors reform

The famous 'fin stack' announced their new line-up in the midst of rumours that suggested their disband after Jerax's departure. This new roster features nordic rising-star nemphy as their new mid player while Trixi and Buugi will change their roles.
Yet another team has changed their roster as 4ASC have just clarified their situation by stating their new line-up. Jesse 'JerAx' Vainnika is now confirmed to be out of the team and having joined Team Tinker, according to SingSing. The Finns took advantage of the situation and will seize the opportunity to swap roles between teammates: Buugi will take the offlane role while Trixi will support from now on, thus leaving the middle lane to the solo-mid Finnish pubstar nemphy.
Nemphy often plays tempo-controller midders such as Storm Spirit, Invoker, Puck, Ember and even Pudge. He favors an aggressive ganking playstyle that may fit perfectly into 4ASC’s mid-game dominant drafts.
The 'Finn stack' managed to get into the spotlight during DreamLeague Season 2 after knocking star-studded Team Secret twice in a row in the qualifiers (2:1 and 2:0 respectively). They then took advantage of a weak Alliance and Fnatic to get into the main LAN event in which they finished in sixth place earning themselves $5,000.
Much to the community’s disappointment, they’ve struggled ever since. They fell short of winning joinDOTA Masters by losing 0:3 vs Hell Raisers in the finals and they failed to qualify to StarLadder 11. They didn’t play a single official game after their last game of SL, which was three weeks ago.
This new roster will make their official debut in Area 51 Dota 2 Cup this Tuesday against no other than Team Tinker, against their former teammate. For more information regarding this match, click here.
4ASC Roster:
Finland Mikko 'Vaalix' Ristimäki
Finland Kalle 'Trixi' Saarinen
Finland Riku 'Buugi' Fält
Finland Sampsa 'nemphy' Kutvonen
Finland Lasse 'MATUMBAMAN' Urpalainen

StarLadder XI - iG and CDEC both denied visas, replaced by PR and Na'Vi

The two Chinese participants of StarLadder XI LAN finals will most likely be unable to travel to Kiev, as their CIS visa applications were denied once again. Na'Vi and Power Rangers will replace the two teams in the event, and the SLTV organization will possibly look for a new venue in Europe to avoid similar situations in the future.
Earlier today, we reported that the upcoming Chinese squad CDEC did not manage to get the required visa to travel to Kiev and the StarLadder XI LAN finals this weekend. It seems that the second Chinese representative Invictus Gaming will also be unable to travel for the same reason. According to SLTV representative Vitalii 'v1lat' Volochai, both teams made their applications on time, but the could not get the required documents due to the delays caused by the Christmas holidays. Instead, the CIS squads Natus Vincere and Power Rangers will replace the two teams, completing the eight-team roster of the event.
This is not an isolated incident for StarLadder, as both NewBee and ViCi Gaming faced issues with their visa applications when they attempted to travel to Ukraine for Season X. The situation seems to have aggravated v1lat, who announced that StarLadder will probably move to another European country to avoid the troubling bureaucracy. This will be a massive change for the Ukrainian competition, traditionally held in CyberArena, Kiev since 2011.
According to BTS caster David 'GoDz' Parker, not all hope is lost for CDEC and iG, as they will have their last chance to gain a visa tomorrow morning. We will update this article as soon as we receive the final information on this matter tomorrow.

Aui_2000 and pieliedie confirm being kicked from C9

After the rosters for Cloud 9 and Evil Geniuses had been revealed by the DAC invites, it was only a matter of time until either party would comment on the situation. Now both pieliedie and Aui_2000 have officially confirmed that they were kicked from their team in Cloud 9.
Former support player and captain of Cloud 9 has Johan 'pieliedie' Aström has now confirmed that he is indeed not part of the roster anymore and that he did not leave intentionally but was kicked. Following him, his former support partner Kurtis 'Aui_2000' Ling confirmed via twitter that he as well was booted from the team.
No reason has been stated yet, as they are both apparently still under contract with the team and will have to wait for an official announcement from Cloud 9.
In the supposedly great Western reshuffle, Cloud 9 has found two new support players for their upcoming TI5 season, namely Johan 'BigDaddy-N0tail' Sundstein and Rasmus 'MiSeRy-' Filipsen. Both were playing with the team in the DAC qualifiers, while Aui_2000 was listed for Evil Geniuses' roster and attended Las Vegas with them to compete in the D2L LAN finals.
As for pieliedie, the Swede is an active member of MeePwn'd, a mix of European players, namely H4nn1, Simbaaa, w33ha and Xcalibur.

Hana departs First Departure

Meracle announces on his personal Twitter account that the teams long term offlaner Hana will be joining the Singaporean army and has therefore decided to depart from the team. This leaves the team with only four players on the roster and no announcement on a replacement.
First Departure's Offlane player Paul 'Hana' Tan has left the team and will be expected to serve for two years in Singapore's National service. Singapore's National service requires all male Singaporean citizens and second-generation permanent residents who have reached the age of eighteen to register for national service compulsorily. The news was announced on Galvin 'Meracle' Kang Jian Wen's personal twitter account this morning.

This will be seen as more bad luck for the Singaporean team, who were unable to travel to The Summit 2 last year and more recently the team were forced to decline their direct invite to the Dota 2 Asia Championships due to 'real life obligations'. Now without a full roster and unable to travel to events, questions will be raised over the future of the team plagued with misfortune.
Hana was one of the founding members of First Departure, first appearing for the team in October 3rd 2012 to compete for the GYGABYTE E-Sports tournament. He stayed with the team even after the departures of Meracle, Wilson 'Poloson' Koh Chin and Jonathan 'SCripted' Lee Wen Jun until January 26th 2014, when he rejoined his former team mates at Scythe Gaming. He rejoined the team just before their successful push through the regional finals for The Summit 2 that landed the team with a $5000 prize after being unable to attend. Following his decision to leave the team, the roster is left as Meracle, Poloson, Chan 'Lubby' Jun Jie and Teo 'Meen-Kaiii' Kai Sheng.

Team Secret Official Announcement

"At the end of last year Team Secret parted ways with Johan 'BigDaddyN0tail' Sundstein and Rasmus 'MiSeRy' Filipsen. Unfortunately multiple teams experienced a roster leak after Perfect World accidently revealed the new rosters on the Dota 2 Asia Championship website. At the time this happened none of the teams involved were ready to announce their changes.
Today we are confirming that Artour 'Arteezy' Babaev and Ludwig 'zai' Wåhlberg will be taking their place on the team and will be heading to China with Team Secret in order to participate in the Dota 2 Asia Championship. The team felt it was important to move into 2015 with a strengthened line up in order to prepare for the wave of upcoming tournaments and to help us achieve the ultimate goal of winning an International.
We understand these changes have upset some of our fans and for that we can only apologise. Johan has included his own personal statement below which will go into more detail on this.
Johan 'BigDaddyN0tail' Sundstein’s statement:
“Hello!
I've been wanting to do a statement for a while regarding the shuffle, and why I am no longer on Team Secret, but I've been very busy with Christmas, New Years and I've been thinking a lot about what to say.
Let me take you back to the very beginning of this team. Me and Kuro were talking together in Seattle after TI4. We got along very well, and still do, but at the time we were unhappy with how things had went in the past, Dota related.
Talks kept happening and we ended up deciding on forming a team together with a very specific idea in mind. This would be a winning team, a team built to win. If a problem would occur within the team the problem would be solved within the team, if that's turns out not to be possible the team would fix it the other way (i.e. roster replacements).
And that's what has happened this last month and a half.
I have a very good relationship with everyone remaining in secret, there is not a single ounce of bad blood between us and I don't see a reason for there to be any. The decision to remove myself and misery for Zai and Arteezy I completely understand, I would be stupid if I don't get the reasoning behind this decision. They're very talented players and there were some issues within the team, although minor issues, the team thinks it can do better with this change.
For the people following the scene closely, you will have already seen I found my place in the Cloud9 team and I am very positive about what we can accomplish, but that post is for another time.
The main point of this post is to remove any negativity towards any of these players that jumped teams, whether it’s Secret, EG or C9.
We are just young boiz that wanna play doto ^^
Thanks for reading, enjoy the scene and don't make it worse!”
We want to take this opportunity to thank Johan for everything he has done for the team inside and out of the game. Johan has always been a constant source of entertainment and motivation for us and will be greatly missed.
We also want to thank Rasmus for his help during December when the team was down a player and needed someone to step in and help bring home our first set of championships for the team.
We wish both players the best of luck in their future and you can find both of them in action for Cloud9 in the DAC 2015 tournament.
The change in roster also includes a few role changes with KuroKy switching to a support role, Arteezy taking the carry role and zai taking the offlane role.
Team Secret
• Artour 'Arteezy' Babaev
• Gustav 's4' Magnusson
• Ludwig 'zai' Wåhlberg
• Clement 'Puppey' Ivanov
• Kuro 'KuroKy' Salehi Takhasomi
As always a big thank you to our fans for your continued support; we couldn't do it without you!"
